Social SDK capabilities shown through Arena Breakout mobile

Meet us at gamescom!

Discord Social SDK: Mobile Support is Now Generally Available

If you have a mobile game, it’s official: the Social SDK is generally available for you to reap the rewards that come with it — Rich Presence, Unified Friends Lists, Social Commerce, and more features that bridge the gap between your player’s social activity on Discord and your game.

This is a refined version of the SDK, purpose-built for players on-the-go and on smaller screens. We worked closely with early partners (thank you Tencent Scopely, and Ninja Kiwi!) to stress-test it against real player behavior on iOS and Android, and we hear the results are already looking good. If you want to see their integrations in action, check out titles like Arena Breakout, Delta Force, Bloons TD6, and Marvel Strike Force.

Be sure to catch our data insights speaking session, too. We’ll be sharing the latest Discord internal data to show how key gaming trends and player behaviors are driving game discovery and engagement.

Legendary Integrations

Bloons TD 6 In-Game Items Are Now Available on Discord

We’re incredibly happy to have partnered with Ninja Kiwi to now let players browse, buy, and gift Bloons TD 6 items right in Discord! Discord Social Commerce lets players buy in-game items and gift them to their friends even when they’re not playing.

Booth Talk: Building Player Connections with Discord Account Linking

Account Linking bridges the gap between your game and Discord. Colin Loretz from Developer Relations has a lot to say about the feature, including how it leads to higher retention and session times.
